Aspire One, Laptop Mungil dari Acer
CIREBON : Laptop mungil kini telah menjadi perangkat yang diburu orang di era digital. Setelah Asus sukses dengan EeePC-nya, Hewlett Packard dan Dell juga menyusul. Dan kini Acer juga memasarkan laptop mungil berjuluk Aspire One.Di Indonesia, Aspire One diluncurkan kemarin, Kamis (10/7) di Hotel Shangrila, Jakarta. Husein, Manager Acer Indonesia mengatakan bahwa Aspire One adalah notebook mini yang dirancang untuk penggunaan aplikasi berbasis internet.
"Fungsi utama Aspire One disebut sebagai 'chat, e-mail, play & share'. Untuk itu, Aspire One dilengkapi dengan aplikasi One Mail, yang dapat membuka empat e-mail atau instant messaging secara bersamaan (single sign on)," paparnya.
Aspire One berlayar LCD 8,9 inci dengan resolusi 1024 x 600 pixels ini. Sedangkan Intel Atom processor menjadi otak laptop mungil ini. Dan tentunya untuk kemudahan mengakses dimana saja, Aspire One dilengkapi dengan 802. 11 b/g Wi-Fi.(BC-33)
